Wyoming Regional Juvenile Detention Center

  • Located in Casper, WY, the RJDC provides secure detention services for pre and post adjudicated juveniles from throughout north central Wyoming.

Facility

The new 28-bed Juvenile Detention Center is designed to provide secure detention services for both males and females. Community and student safety is ensured by a staff to student ration of 1 to 8. Students attend life skills development groups daily to help become productive members of society upon release and thereby decrease recidivism.

Educational Services

Though a cooperative agreement with the Natrona County School District, youth receive educational services year-round.

 Additional Services

Students attend life skills development groups to help become productive members of society upon release and thereby decrease recidivism. Group work includes Addiction Education, Ethics and Health Education. Clients also participate in Physical Training.
